SUBARU has announced a price cut for its rear-wheel drive coupe, the BRZ. Alongside the sister Toyota GT86 car, the BRZ is pitched at buyers seeking a fun, low cost sports coupe to rival the driving enjoyment offered by more expensive German models. From May the BRZ experience will be £2,500 less expensive, as Subaru is reducing the price to put more distance between it and its newly launched WRX STI model.
The McLaren 650S (pictured) arrives a little earlier than McLaren planned
Just a few days age we had the first tease for the new McLaren 650S, a car McLaren said was aimed between the existing 12C and the hypercar McLaren P1. We speculated the 650S would be a tweaked 12C with more power and styling tweaks, and that’s exactly what it is. Driving has managed to publish the first official photos this morning (albeit in fairly low res) and it’s clear the 650S is the 12C with a healthy does of P1 mixed in for extra appeal.
Infiniti Sports Car Concept Tease
Infiniti is teasing a range extender, mid-engined sports car ahead of a debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in March. The eyes of the motoring world may be on the Detroit Auto Show, but that’s not stopping car makers teasing new cars heading for the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in the Spring.
